The neighbours ears sounded liked they copped a bashing judging by the audio sent in 😂😂

Race Reviews

Gold Academy / Jedibeel

Gold Academy: He was vetted prior to the race due to a minor laceration to the left eye and was a big blower in the market. He didn't begin the best and was bumped on jumping, ended up getting a good run midfield one off the fence. Looked to be under riding turning and ran on fairly. A post race vet exam revealed no abnormalities.

Jedibeel - quite the opposite here where he was off the map after a couple impressive trials. Began well and got the box seat and only needed luck at the top of the straight to get the run, peeled off heels and let down to record a soft win by 1.38 lengths.

Arctic Legend / Gringotts

Arctic Legend: Got a lovely run just in behind the speed and at the top of the straight, he looked set to put pay to them easily but he hung in and had to survive a protest. Bit plain in the end.

Gringotts: Began well and settled just off the pace travelling well. Peeled out at the top of the straight and let down well winning by 0.82 lengths making our Punter Of The Day one happy man when he netted $720 in cash!

Aviatress / Karavas

Aviatress: She began ok and got the dream run in the box seat. Everything went her way to take her career record to 4: 3-0-0 but the run of the race and one to follow was the second horse, Sachem who went back to last from the outside gate and charged to the line.

Karavas: Began well and got into a good spot outside the lead, she failed to let down though and was disappointing to the line. The winner Growing Empire is a horse to follow from the week.

One To Follow

Growing Empire

This was impressive. After a debut where he went through the outside fence when shying at the winning post to winning a Listed race at Moonee Valley then on Saturday in the Group 3 Breeders Stakes he made an absolute mess of them winning by 4.5 lengths eased down. He controlled the race from the front after working across from the outside gate. M.Zahra angled to the centre of the track and asked for an effort and he quickened with a great turn of foot. Could be going to the paddock now and back for the Spring.

Current Stats Snapshot – $253 PROFIT

If you had $10 the win on all 310 suggested plays you would be winning a total of $253

The Gold Membership Recap

Plenty of bets, having one of our higher turnover weeks. I must say we were only one result away from a big week, if Scentify who looked home sticks it’s nose out or even Jamaican Mecrazy we walk away well in the black.

It was one of those weeks where we had 4 winning days out of 5 betting days but we just chipped away each day. We kicked off the week with a 50 unit play on a Balastier who we thought was a good thing, and he proved that to be the case, winning by 3.82 lengths and reports were he wasn’t 100% comfortable on the Heavy 9 surface.

Onto Anzac Day where we looked in trouble after getting caught with a bet on King Yoshi with all the scratchings but in the last betting race of the day Grey Ice saluted after being off the map. Members took 5.95 and he started 2.8 on the totes.

Friday saw us land a 2-leg multi collecting 72 units but Saturday was plagued with placings. We rounded out the week with Divine Okay who was 7.5 into 3.6 and won well for the team finishing the week +65 units and making Grant our Pro Punter Of The Week one happy man.

PRO PUNTER OF THE WEEK, Grant was an overall profit of $650

KEY STATS:

Profit On Turnover: +1.13

Mr Racing Stable News

Slippin’ Jimmy Report:

Looking an absolute treat ahead of tomorrow’s race at Kilcoy over the 1200m. He has drawn barrier (2) and looks very hard to beat. R. Wiggins has been booked and the plan will be to lead and control the race as it is a huge advantage around the tight Kilcoy track.

Whiskey Tower Report:

She has pulled up super from her run on Tuesday but gee she was very plain. Had the ideal run throughout and when KWT got her in the clear we thought she would let down and run straight past them but she was just plodding and very one paced. Dave will put either the blinkers or visors on for her next start and step her up over 2000m+

Instigate Report:

She had a day out at the races on Tuesday for her first experience, and she handled it very well. Dave was very happy with how she behaved at the races and gave her a good experience.

Anti Tank Missle Report:

Gee he is looking like a real racehorse now, his coat is is great and those fetlocks have improved. He is on track for his jumpout on the 14th which is on Tuesday week.

John Rambo Report:

He is still out at Embrook, looking forward to having him back in work at Eagle Farm shortly. He looks set for a big prep our stable star, John Rambo.

Use Your Illusion Report:

The jumpouts have been called off this week due to the wet weather. Tony put the blinkers on him and has sharpened him which was a positive sign and was very happy with how he worked with them on.

He will be heading for a spell now for 4-6 weeks before coming back in.

Smerdon Racing

Kesalul Report:

Our son of Supido, Kesalul is coming back into work after having 7 weeks off. His time off has done him super and can see he has grown and strengthened again. In saying that, he is that type of horse that will still show that little bit of rib, as you can see in his recent photo.

Jimmyinthejungle Report:

We have finally got his name back by Racing Australia: Jimmyinthejungle

He now makes it the second Jimmy in the Mr Racing stable and Campo is very happy with how he is progressing. Only about 3 weeks away from his first jumpout or trial and we can not wait to see what is under the hood.

You Think You Know Report:

Having a nice pick of the grass and he is recovered well from his Gelding operation. Excited to see this bloke back in full work and onto another trial.

Jungle Cat x Khasahn

Mr Racing had this colt on our radar at the sales due to his half-brother (King Klaus) whom we tried to buy after his first race start. He is a fast, tough 1000m horse who has built a very handy record (29s :14 - 6 -1) and earned over $300,000 in prize money.

We loved his length, good muscle with clean knees and tracks well, he has a great head and a lovely mover.

If you would like more information please contact Matt via email matt@mrracing.com.au and we can discuss further.

Master Rich

Mr Racing along with trainer Jared Wehlow, purchased Master Rich at the recent Inglis Digital Online Sale for $8,000. He looks suited to North Queensland racing, especially the big Rockampton track and his run-on debut at Beaudesert was good when unsuited.

If you would like more information please contact Matt via email matt@mrracing.com.au and we can discuss further.
