Very quiet week where we decided to take the weekend off due to the uncertainty with the weather around. Plenty of rain in QLD and Syd which makes it very difficult to know what you are playing on. Disipline and patience is key.

How it started:
Jackson won the Punter Of The Day Promotion where Mr Racing placed a $500 multi on our Silver Membership tips last week at Ipswich.
How it ended:
Astin Lane and Talk Time both won and Jacko netted $2,100 in CASH which is over 21 years of the Silver membership.
It was great to catch up at the local Coolangatta Surf Club for a quick schooner and of course to deliver the Doe Ray Me. I might say though the quick schooner didn’t end that way, with a few more than a couple getting knocked back! 😂😂

Mr Racing is excited to have No.8 Slippin’ Jimmy back to the races after an impressive 4.5-length win last start. He had an easy trial last Thursday and has done a treat since and we think he will be very hard to beat from barrier (3) with Ryan Maloney aboard.

Ipswich Multi
Astin Lane: Began well and made every post a winner after crossing to the fence and putting a margin on them. Paleface Ringo gave us a scare but they beat the rest by over 5 lengths.
Talk Time: One of the more confortable watches after being very heavily backed starting 1.5. Began well and got the lovley suck run in behind them. A Malloyn peeled into the straight and began to let down and it was all over at the 200m mark when he kicked clear, eventually winning by 3.49 lengths.

Very impressive win by the lightly raced son by Street Boss. He takes his record to (7: 5-1-1) and stamps himself as a real contender for the best mile race in Australia this weekend "The Doncaster" He looks to improve every run and quickened well to put a margin on them eased down. Very progressive horse.

Nice horse this son of Super Seth who showed a gritty effort to fight back and win in a head bobber against a hard fit horse who was coming out of some strong formlines. He was solid to the line and has good upside to come only being his second career start.

It was a very quiet week with only two days of betting but we sure made the most of it profiting +172 units.
We started well with our only two plays on Monday both saluting after being very heavily supported in betting. A quick snapshot was we bet into 4 races over the 2 days of betting and landed 2 winners, 1 second, 1 third and two unplaced.
Our Pro Punter Of The Week winner was Jodie Rockliff who is one of Mr Racing’s biggest supporters but also the No.1 leader of the John Rambo fan club put her winnings to good use when she was able to pay for a further 12 months access of the Gold Membership but also put the remaining money towards buying a share in our Zousain x Top Of The Rock colt.

Slippin’ Jimmy Report:
Excited to see Slippin’ Jimmy kick off his preparation tomorrow in the TAB 100’s and 1000’s race at his home track on the Sunshien Coast. He looks set to go but we definitely would of liked one more trial under his belt to be really confident. None the less he has good residual fitness there with only having a short spell.
Whiskey Tower Report:
David is happy with her but barrier (4) might be a bit of a negative as we do want her to get to the outside of horses and be running on. The trip is going to suit and on the big home track as well. Looking forward to seeing her hit the line here.
Instigate Report:
She looks great on the coat after coming back from a spell. David is happy with the way she has grown and developed in the break. Hoping to get to the races this time in and will be looking to have a trial in about 7 weeks.
John Rambo Report:
Oh my hasn’t he done well out there. This is finally a matured version of John Rambo, his really developed now and we can not wait to see him back in work.
GOLLAN UPDATE BELOW:
After further thought, Tony has now decided that he would like John Rambo to have two more weeks in the paddock before coming back in to work,
There is nothing at all wrong with him, he just wants to him to have good break before beginning his next preparation.
Please find attached a photo send through from the team at Embrook. He looks in great condition and I am sure he will enjoy the extra two weeks off.

| The jumpouts have been called off this week due to the wet weather. Tony put the blinkers on him and has sharpened him which was a positive sign and was very happy with how he worked with them on. He will be heading for a spell now for 4-6 weeks before coming back in. |

Jungle Cat x Khasahn
Mr Racing had this colt on our radar at the sales due to his half-brother (King Klaus) whom we tried to buy after his first race start. He is a fast, tough 1000m horse who has built a very handy record (29s :14 - 6 -1) and earned over $300,000 in prize money.
We loved his length, good muscle with clean knees and tracks well, he has a great head and a lovely mover.

Master Rich
Mr Racing along with trainer Jared Wehlow, purchased Master Rich at the recent Inglis Digital Online Sale for $8,000. He looks suited to North Queensland racing, especially the big Rockampton track and his run-on debut at Beaudesert was good when unsuited.
