News Room Vol66
An Eventful Week At HQ
Plenty happened last week with Mr Racing catching up with our previous racehorse giveaway winner Greg Doherty, having two runners on The Wave day to kick off the Magic Millions carnival, then the team breaking down on the way to races on the M1 😂 Shout out to Peter Anderson and Matt Brown who seen us stuck there and offered to do a U-Bolt and come pick us up!
Congratulations to all four of our Owner Of The Day winners for last week. Unfortunately, John Rambo couldn’t pick up any prize money, but our two winners Craig Hale and Jason Wehlow took home $505 cash each when Kesalul ran out of his skin to finish third in the 3yr-old QTIS race there on Saturday.
We got our main betting race for the Gold service wrong on Saturday, which was the difference in going home winning for the week.
Looking forward to this week, we will be announcing our winner of the 2.5% share in our 2yr-old by Jungle Cat, make sure you watch the video below.

💲MAGIC MILLIONS 💲
MAGIC MILLIONS 2YR PREVIEW
Mr Racing thinks there are only three main chances of winning this year’s edition of the 2yr-old Magic Millions Classic. Our horse to follow in No.1 Storm Boy is our clear top pick, who was impressive on debut, beating the subsequent winner in Traffic Warden, and then was a tough win 2nd up at Eagle Farm. We loved that No.2 Spywire has drawn outside of him, who we feel will be pushed to lead or co-lead, and we are very happy to bet around him, who looks a huge risk at the 1200m at its first go.
No.8 Arabian Summer won easily on Saturday and will also roll forward with Spywire and Storm Boy and should get a good run on the speed. She looked strong through the line last Saturday, but we aren’t sure if she will handle the step up to 1200m.
No. 4 Highness won well last start, but I am not sure if the win was exaggerated to the eye with Tyler Schiller not riding Spywire out to the line, but he does map perfectly in barrier (4) and looks suited up to the 1200m.
No.3 Parkour looks a nice horse in the making but we feel barrier (17) she will be too far off them and happy to bet around.
If you are looking to play the first four, our smokey to run 3rd or 4th is No.10 Poster Girl, who ran second last start behind No.1 Storm Boy.
OUR MARKET IS:
No.1 Storm Boy – 2.3
No.8 Arabian Summer – 7.5
No.4 Highness – 8.0
No. 2 Spywire 21.0
No.3 Parkour – 21.0
No.10 Poster Girl – 23.0
MR RACING PROMOTION:
We will be giving away $500 @ 2.5 for one lucky Silver Member in our Punter of The Day promotion. If Storm Boy can win then our winning member will walk away with $750 in cash.
Our Tips

Payline And Bonita Queen
We have to admit we got this wrong. It was some training performance by team Edmonds with the very impressive winner in Barassi who had ran very quick time which was just outside a course record. We didn't like the gear he still had on (concussion plates) and the formline it came out of with the horse who won that race being Baltray. Payline hit the line well and is ready to win whilst Boniat Queen was disappointing even though it couldn't get the easiest run throughout.

Bernice's Spirit
Our roughie in Bernice's Spirit was only away fairly and settled 2nd last in the run. The bias on the day didn't suit and she ran home fairly. Better suited back to maiden grade now.

Kesalul
Mr Racing was watching this race from the side of the road on the M1 broken down. What a run, sitting 3 wide throughout and battling on good. He has done nothing but improve every time he steps out this preparation and is now having 8-9 days out before coming back in and being aimed at the March Jewel QTIS race day.

John Rambo
The day didn't start well with his usual rider, Ryan Maloney, indisposed for the meeting due to illness. He is not the easiest horse to just jump on, as he does have his quirks. He was slow away, and his race was over shortly after it started with the way the track was playing and being so far back and having to make up the ground. He needs to drop back in grade now and build the confidence back up.
One To Follow

Stay Focused
Impressive debut from the 2yr old colt by Cosmic Force. He got a lovely run in behind the speed and once in the straight, he really knuckled down, lengthening away from them to win by 2 lengths with good margins back to third. Loved the way he went through the line here and getting out to 1200m looks ideal.

Brave Smash x Provocateur Filly Report:
No vision of her jumpout last week but from all reports she went very well. Excited to have her trial shortly.

John Rambo Report:
Smerdon Racing

Kesalul Report:
What a run there on Saturday. We must say if he draws a gate he goes very close to winning. He is building a very handy record now with 5: 3-1-1 and is heading to the paddock for 8-9 days before coming back to take on the QTIS Jewel race day in March.

Jungle Cat x Khasahn
Mr Racing had this colt on our radar at the sales due to his half-brother (King Klaus) whom we tried to buy after his first race start. He is a fast, tough 1000m horse who has built a very handy record (29s :14 - 6 -1) and earned over $300,000 in prize money.
We loved his length, good muscle with clean knees and tracks well, he has a great head and a lovely mover.

Master Rich
Mr Racing along with trainer Jared Wehlow, purchased Master Rich at the recent Inglis Digital Online Sale for $8,000. He looks suited to North Queensland racing, especially the big Rockampton track and his run-on debut at Beaudesert was good when unsuited.
