Brave Mead – The Valley
Gee, he went SUPER on Saturday!
After being slow into stride, he settled second last in a very slowly run race.
Jockey M.Zahra had to get going 3 wide around them at the 600m to put him in the race. He finished 1.4 lengths off the winner Steparty who is a very smart horse.
We believe if he had stepped clean from the barriers, and showed the normal early speed he could have settled outside the lead and probably finishes only 0.5 lengths behind the winner.
Quiet Week For GOLD Members
Gold Members had a quiet week last week with only 13 tips across the three days of betting.
It looked a tough weekend with not a lot of value around but no damage done with a small loss overall.
We gave members a free week as well.

Right To Party
It looked to bad to be true with the performance of Right To Party and a following report by the stewards confirmed this with the filly pulling up with Caradic arythmia.
Stewards Report:
Performed below market expectations. A post‑race veterinary examination revealed cardiac arrhythmia. Right To Party shall not start in any race, official trial or jump‑out until the Stewards have received a satisfactory veterinary report from a qualified veterinary surgeon which includes the results of (a) an electrocardiography (ECG) of more than 60 seconds duration performed by that veterinarian whilst the horse is at rest; and (b) a cardiac auscultation performed by that veterinarian within 15 minutes of the horse completing a satisfactory gallop of at least 1000 metres.
Butch Cassidy
We thought they would be a lot more positive today, and if they were, he would run a cheeky race at good each way odds. He settled outside the lead in an evenly run race and had every chance finishing just 0.48 length behind the winner and beaten in the last stride for 3rd.
Steparty
He is a Group 1 horse in the making who kept his unbeaten record in tact at Moonee Valley. The camp have big aspirations for him with a possible Cox Plate tilt after the Group 1 Caulfied Guineas.

He is starting to lose a bit of weight. He looking well within himself and still on track for a trial on the 17th October.
Jayemmcee Report:
Great to have the big boy back in the stables. He is working around nicely and is penciled in for his first jumpout for the prep on the 31st Oct.
Dubious x Care To Elaborate Report:
Tony is absolutley glowing in his report of the young colt.
John Rambo Report:
As previously mentioned, John Rambo commenced work at Embrook Stables on Monday for his next preparation.
He has returned to work in excellent condition is handling things well at this early stage.
We will build up his fitness over the coming weeks in anticipation of his return to Eagle Farm.
Brave Mead Post Race Report:
Brave Mead pulled up well following the first-up run over the 1200m in the McKenzie Stakes at Moonee Valley on Saturday.
From a data perspective, his performance rated 2.5 lengths below his career peak, though it was 5 lengths superior to his previous first-up effort, acknowledging that was his debut.
Since settling back into our Cranbourne Training Base, we’ve planned for a few quiet days to best aid in the post-race recovery.

We’ll continue to consider all suitable options in conjunction with post-race recovery, track conditions and suitable depths of the respective fields before finalising those plans.
