Mr Racing’s Matt, caught up with one of our lucky winners from Hip Hip Hurrah’s Punter Of The Day Bet, Scoot who took home $2,500 in CASH.

Queen Of Dragons
She began well but drifted back and ended up 2nd last in the run which was a lot further back than we anticipated from barrier (4). The tempo of the race suited and she finished off fair, finishing 4th beaten 2.67 lengths. The 2nd horse Abounding was the the run of the race sitting 3 wide no cover the entire.
Sweet Mercy
Mr Racing loves a roughie and we thought Sweet Mercy could run a cheeky race and she did just that.
She began well from barrier (1) and got the soft run in behind the speed. Once turning she was travelling beautifully and got the dream run through to let down and put the race away, easing up to win by 1.39 lengths.
Someone had a good go on the totes as she started 10.0 best tote but 15.0 SP
Preemptory
Slow away but did get to midfield fence. Mr Racing felt this was going to be a high pressure race but some of the pace runners went back and the on pacers were suited. Never really got balanced in the straight and ran a respectable 5th. Mr Racing loved the run of Acapella Sun and is the horse to follow out of the race.
Celestial Legend / Golden Boom / Altivo
1st / 1st / 2nd 🙁
Mr Racing thinks this is a serious race horse and a potential Group 1 performer after Saturday’s win. Only fair away and settled two pairs back the fence. Held up in running until the 200m and this beautiful son of Dundeel exploded when clear to win arrogantly by 1.41 lengths.
He was very heavily backed and after beginning the best he got the perfect run throughout. Was lucky to win the race with Spacewalk a certainty beat running on strong after being held up for runs.
Pick us up off the floor please! Mr Racing was very excited to have Altivo going for a hatful in Multi’s for us and our Platinum Clients. He was very heavily backed late starting a $1.5 favourite. Got a soft run throughout and he looked the winner at the 200m. Unfortunately he went head to head with Daytona Bay losing out on a head bobber.
Hope we can break the multi curse soon!

Slippin’ Jimmy Report:
He has plenty of character this boy. Loving his work and is a good eater, Dave is looking to get Slippin’ Jimmy to a trial next Month on the 27th.
Jayemmcee Report:
Dave is very happy with Jayemmcee, it’s the best he has looked and excited for his jumpout over the 850m.
Anti Tank Missile Report:
Well, it is time to head back to the paddock. After his gallop on Saturday he has felt his legs and Dave has reccomend we send him out for 6 months. He has always been an immature horse and we have taken our time in ensuring the best care for him to mature at the right pace.
John Rambo Report:
John Rambo has had a 1000m jumpout yesterday and stepped half a length slow but when nothing wanted to lead he took it up. He done it very easy and looked lovely and loose in his action. Very happy with the way he has come back.

Disappointed with how we played the week team,
Small loss overall, but no damage done.
This week will be free again for our Latemail members, long term success is what we are in the game for.
We are unhappy with how we staked the week, and, in hindsight, should have staked higher on the first two betting races at Sydney. With coming off the run of luck we have been having we had staked down on a race where our confidence was high and in hindsight was a mistake on our behalf.
Mr Racing knows what we need to do to bring back the flying start we had to the service.
A Brief Note:
Looking at our results you can see that we had a very positive start to the service going 8 winning days from 8 betting days and amassing a total of 772+ units at our highest point.
In racing there are always swings and we are in the mist of one now.
Managing your bankroll, making informed decisions, and maintaining a long-term perspective are key strategies to navigate the ups and downs of variance and strive for overall profitability in horse racing betting.

Toormina Cup Race Day
We were thrilled to be able to throw our support behind one of our Members Carl who was hosting the annual event for the Toormina Cup Race Day.
Unfortunately due to the weather the crew couldn’t attend the races as they had moved them to Port Macquarie but Carl did an excellent job at creating an awesome day at the Toormina Hotel, filled with fun, giveaways and of course winners!
The W Short Hospitality Group are major sponsors for the Coffs Racing club and will be hosting the Moonee Beach Hotel Group Gold Cup.
