News Room Vol31

Very Quiet Week...But Big News Coming!

It was a very quiet week for Mr Racing with a little freshen up on the water walker.

Wednesday displayed a horrow watch for us after seeing Paienbara and Sailors Secret both win by big margins after being on them their start’s prior. (See below)

We were keen on two at the Sunshine Coast on Saturday and one of which was a late scratching due to vets advise.

Stay tuned for this week’s big annoucement….This one is going to be special.

Let's take a look...

An 80th birthday present that turned into $700 CASH!

We would like to thank to Greg one of our members who was behind this great present.

Click to watch Allan’s story behind becoming a Mr Racing member and how we won $700 in our punter of the day promotion.

“I would just like to take this opportunity in saying Mr Racing has a great tipping service and I thoroughly recommend it and very unique with his punter promotions excellent value for money and finding winners well done Mr Racing giddy up cheers”

Noel Fisher

Influential

After missing the kick, Influential raced very green and we think he might need a gelding operation but was still disappointing.

Rosseau

Safe to say we were dissapointed to hear about Rosseau’s late scratching on Saturday as we deemed it one of our best bets of the day and the money was there to say we were not the only ones.

Rosseau’s late scratching was due to the vets advise.

OPERATION SUCCESFUL, PATIENT DIED

It is astounding how many horses we tip come out and win their next start. We are sure we are not the only ones but sometimes it is just cruel.

In the last week alone there has been 4 horses that have came out and won their next starts that we have either tipped in the Latemail service or the main membership.

On Saturday, Renouf, who was on the back up after we had tipped as one of our value plays of the day, came out and ran well in a much harder race.

Sailors Secret

Mr Racing had tipped him last start at 15.0 when second behind Paris Avenue. Once he got to the outside there on Wednesday he let down and put them away. Well backed late starting 3.0

Paienbara

Gee, he won well on Wednesday by a big margin. Mr Racing had tipped Sailors Secret to members on the same day as Paienbara at Ipswich.

Union Army

Latemail members were on Union Army after being one of Mr Racing’s plays the start before. Least we got something small out of it.

THE RUN OF 2NDS

Mr Racing is going through a run of 2nds at the moment, having backed 23 in the last 3 weeks.

It is never easy going through these periods, but we have gone through them before and we will go through them again in our career.

We know our formula is right, as we are not far off the mark, we just need the luck to fall our way.

On Friday, Latemail members experienced a cruel one at in the last race on Wagga Gold Cup day, where we had tipped Allaboutroy, who looked home until one came out of the pack to get us down on the line.

Same followed up on Saturday at Morphettville with Foxy Frida, who looked the winner until getting nailed by Caste, who was our blackbooker to follow for the week.

They beat the rest by 4 lengths.

Let’s take a look at some of the others;

Keats: 4.5 Best Tote

Thought Provoking: 7.7 Best Tote

Dazzling Lucy: 5.5 Best Tote

Emerald Kingdom: 6.4 Best Tote

Sonny Daze: 8.90 Best Tote

Hot Jive: 14.6 Best Tote

Altisima: 10.90 Best Tote

The luck will turn; it always does!

One To Follow –

 Caste

This was an impressive win by Caste in the Group 2 on Saturday. The 3yo filly beat the older horses and has now taken her win record to 6s-4w-1p.

She ran right through the line with big margins back to third. Looks to be an improving type.

Be sure to stay update with what we are doing…

Slippin Jimmy Report:

Slippin Jimmy has now been in Pre Training for 29 days now. He has been handling the work load nicely and is looking and feeling great.
We look forward to seeing him continue to progress!
Please see attached images of him out on the sand track this week

Anti Tank Missile Report:

Excited to have Anti Tank Missile having his first jumpout next week over 400m. He will be there purely for educational purposes. Dave is happy with his condition and how we is progressing at this stage in his prep.

Jayemmcee Report:

Super excited to see this bloke have a jumpout tomorrow week over 850m which will be 2 years since the date Mr Racing secured him at Inglis for $100K.

Dave will bring him up to the mark with another gallop this week and ready for his jumpout.

Toronado Sire:

Mr Racing loved Toronado’s yearlings when they first went through the sales ring. We then got excited for him to potentially be a top stallion when we found Masked Crusader after he won at Randwick on May 29, 2020.

Toronado is on fire at the moment, being one of the top sires in the last 30 days with 26 winners from 175 runners.

He has sired more stakes winners this season than any other Victorian stallion, and just last month his daughter Mariamia handed him a fourth Group 1 when she was triumphant in The Galaxy.

Swettenham Stud has decided not to increase his service fee this season, as he currently stands at $88,000.

He has had 75 yearlings gross $13,058,358 at an average of $174,111 in 2023.

Not only is Toronado producing winners in Australia, but he currently sits fourth on the Hong Kong list for most wins by a sire this season, and he is eighth on the table by earnings.

Here is a great article by Caitlin Smith:

Analyse The: May sire focus on Toronado.

John Rambo Report:

He has arrived back to us in super condition and looks very healthy and well. He has settled straight back in with no problems to report at this stage.

Tony will assess exactly where is is at and make a plan to get him back to the trials and them on to the races for you.

OOVII Race Nomination:

This Saturday Oovii (007) is back at the races, kicking off his preparation in a 2-y-o Hcp over 1100m at Rockhampton.

007 has found a solid field for a Saturday Rockhampton meeting with the top weight Bold Comic winning impressively last start and Shamedy winning 2 races and running 2nd to Chrysaor who win the first race at Gosford.

His trainer Jared Whelow is happy with 007 fitness coming into this race off no trial and is aiming him at the rich Townsville race over the long weekend in June.

Jared, is one of Mr Racing’s biggest fans was one of the winners of our punter of the day on Saturday before his selection was a late scratching.

We will be going again for him this week!

Well, luck is everything in this game, and the past two weeks it has gone against us.

In saying that, we did have it on our side in the first two weeks of our service’s launch, going 8 winning days from 8 betting days.

During this time, we have sent 215 tips for 42 winners, 35 seconds, and 28 thirds, which is a total of 19.5% win strike rate and a total of 48.8% top 3 finish.

We know our formula is right; and despite our recent performance, we are still proud to report a profit on turnover of 9.66%. This metric is an essential measurement of profitability over the long term.

Mr Racing would like to highlight the importance of bankroll management during times like this.

It’s essential to bet down on your unit size and not chase your losses.

We recommend all our members have set points on their bankroll where they will increase their unit size when they hit a certain profit level and decrease their unit size once they reach a certain level.

This approach will help you protect your bankroll during down swings and ensure that you can continue to bet confidently in the long term.

Member 277, who won the Latemail punter of the day, will have their remaining $500 FREE BET rolled over to this week.
