Our Two Best Bets Land But Latemail Took A Hit!
It was a mixed emotion type of weekend starting on Friday when our best bet in Cavaup was well backed and saluted for members.
Onto Saturday where our value runner in Renouf was held up and looked to be bolting and never getting clear.
Appin Girl showed she is a progressive filly by winning impressivly and then ending with the Archer on Sunday where we got beat by a bob of the head in a thriller!
Mr Racing gave away $3,300 in FREE BETS last week in our Punter Of The Day promotion and we were lucky enough to land over $1,100 in profits to give our lucky members.
We took our CASH giveaway total to over $38,000 now!
Sadly, it wasn’t our finest performance with our Latemail service, we had our chance to get out winning but come up short with a photo finish going to the way of Alpine Edge in our last betting race of the weekend.
We feel we backed too many winners to come up losing for the week!

We were thrilled to be able to give away $700 cash to our lucky winner of Friday’s draw Allan.
A little back story behind how Allan got involved with Mr Racing:
Allan’s mate had bought him his Mr Racing Membership for his birthday as a present and has not only enjoyed some great winners but this was his first time winning the draw and it fell on our best bet on Friday Cavaup.
A $500 Free Bet was placed and Allan took home $700 in profit.

Punter Of The Day – The Archer
Karedada
With Altivo scratched due to Flemington being called off we were left with Karedada as a sinlge leg of our Anzac Day multi.
Mr Racing was very keen on Karedada would be hard to beat after jockey A.Gibbons eventually settled outside the lead. With the run she got we feel it was just a win and the clock backed that up with Karedada running the slowest 1200m overall time for the day.
Cavaup – Nice ride
It looked the perfect race for the 3yo filly and Mr Racing was keen. The money kept coming for Cavaup throughout the day and eventually started 2.2 best tote.
Jockey A. Morgan rode the filly a peach after getting the perfect run in behind the speed he popped off the rail and began to put Cavaup into the race turning for home and kicked clear winning by 1.5 lengths.

Appin Girl – Very progressive
Mr Racing was very keen on Appin Girl. When we had sent her out as an early play on Wednesday as we were confident she was going to produce what she displayed there on Saturday. She began ok and mustered to sit just in behind the speed. Before turning she looked to be travelling like the winner and than ambled up to them once straightening letting down with a turn of foot to put them away winning by 1.63 lengths ears pricked.
She looks very progressive and can follow.

Zuma California &
Renouf
Mr Racing thought both these two could run a cheeky race and whilst Zuma California was very disappointing Renouf was a tragedy. We can’t help but wonder if she had got clear running how far she could have won by.
She was absoluetly bolting in behind them and looked ready to explode but just could not get the run at any stage in the straight.
With the first 7 within 2.1 lengths of each other it is not a form race we want to be following.
Vivy Air – Not the same horse
Not convinced Vivy Air was the same horse that we have seen in her first two starts in her career. She began ok and didn’t look to be travelling comfortable and ended up very wide turning and didn’t let down.
Could head to the paddock now being her first campaign.
Brosnan – plain
Disappointing performance after getting the perfect run throughout. He had every possible chance to win after he looked to be a threat at the top of the straight. The winner Kovalica sat 3 deep througout and looks very much on track for the QLD Derby.

The Archer:
What a thrilling race this was, we were unlucky with our jockey on Emerald Kingdom didn’t wait an extra 50m and he would of got the run the winner (Alpine Edge) got. We were in front a stride before the line and a stride after but not where it counts.
One To Follow –
Appin Girl
She looks to have good ability this young filly who has been impressive in both her wins to date. She has a versatile racing pattern where she can race off the speed and can put herself right there. The turn of foot she displayed there on Saturday was one of a nice horse on the up.

Anti Tank Missile Report:
Anti Tank Missile has had 7 days out on the water walker and will be coming back in to the stables today. Still on track for an easy jumpout over 400m in 2 weeks time.
Jayemmcee Report:
Jayemmcee has had the vet go over and check his joints again and is happy with them. He will be looking to have an 850m jumpout in the coming weeks.
