Mr Racing was thrilled to be able to giveaway $2,483 in cash last week for our winners of the Punter of the Day.
That is now over $8,000 given back to members in the last 3 weeks!
We gave 2x Latemail members a $1,000 Free Bet each and member Mark.O still has $500 heading into this week.
Our winning members Jodie took home $1,033 and Syd $350 which well and truely has paid for their membership, it’s great both winners were local and Matt can catch up with them this week. Stay tuned on our social media accounts for the catch ups.
Our best on Saturday Rothgo saluted and our roughie of the day ran a good race to finish 3rd and paid $5.5 the place.

The highlight of the week was the Latemail service!
We went back to back to back winning days for the service and members experinced one of the most exciting days betting having 12 suggested bets on Friday for 4x winners, 7x seconds & a third.

Rothgo
Well, this race changed dramatically about 2 hours out from the race with 4 late scratchings due to a transport issues from Toowoomba.
Mr Racing was keen on Rothgo and we had sent it out to members early in the week at 4.4 there was great support for him early Saturday morning, getting as low as 2.4 at one stage with TAB.
He began well from barrier (1) and got the perfect run. He took a while to pick them up but always looked to be coming eventually, winning by 0.3 length. Feel he would probably relish more speed on up front to really produce his best.
Union Army
Union Army began only fairly, settled midfield, getting a lovely run though he was racing a bit keen throughout. Before the turn, he looked to be bolting and just needing clear air to let down. Eventually, when the run came, jockey J.Parr asked him to quicken, and didn’t show the turn off foot we thought to put them away. A disappointing 4th in the end, being beaten by only less than a length.
Chase My Crown –
$18w & $5.5p
Mr Racing was very happy with the run. She was $26 into as low as $18 late in betting.
Chase My Crown got a lovely run thoughout and we thought we were a real live chance with our roughie of the day at the 300m mark. The 5yo mare may have just peaked late on her run there a bit, but none the less, the winner was too good and had been ready to win the right race.
Ruby July & Headwall
Mr Racing thought Ruby July would get a soft run in behind the speed and was a great value play with the light weight and odds. She began well and got the soft run, was slightly held up looking for runs, but I still believe it hasn’t cost her much ground.
Headwall copped a poor ride, when caught deep throughout and asked to make a long run at them, which you don’t want to do at Eagle Farm. It was a ride where a decision wasn’t made early enough to go forward or back, which over the 1000m start at Eagle Farm is not want you need. Very hard to win like that.
In saying that was still a little disappointing.

AMAZING win this!
She was a horse on Mr Racing‘s radar after jumping out well prior to her debut when she was a black booker running on hard to just miss. She showed once again a great turn of foot to pick up her rivals quickly and put them away winning by 2.8 lengths easing down.
A jockey change would be ideal to follow with great confidence, though she can be winning again if re produces.

Slippin Jimmy Report:
Fenwick Farm report – Slippin JImmy is now on his 8th day of Pre Training. He has settles in nicely over the last week and begun work without any dramas. He is currently cantering 1 lap of our sand track and we look to increase this work load in the following week.
Anti Tank Missile Report:
Anti Tank Missile has arrived up at the Sunshine Coast after his pre training at Fenwick Farm. Dave will be getting him to do some 3 quater pace work this week and hopefully onto a trial in not to long.
Jayemmcee Report:
Jayemmcee has had a great week and will be having his first jumpout tomorrow over 400m.
The sire Toronado has been on fire of late with 2x impressive winners in Hong Kong the last two weeks in Red Elegance and Victor The Winner.
He also had winner Shesallshenanigans at Sandown on Saturday and three winners at Seymour on Friday, Count Nicholas, Toronado Rouge and Toropeak.
Dave took him down to Eagle Farm on Saturday for a day out. This was his first day at the races and it i s such a great way to gie young horses a good education and experience of what it is all about
He handled the day super and was very alert and relaxed when parading around.
