Brave Mead (Vale)
Mr Racing had followed arguably the best son of Brave Smash and when a 2.5% share became available on Inglis Digital we had to have him. Since then, he has won the Group 3 Manfred Stakes at Caulfield and has been Group 3 placed 3 other times. In his entire career he has only missed the placings once (11: 4-3-3) and that was on the bottomless track in the Group 1 Sires Produce at the end of his first preparation.
He has been a great money earner for our Owner Of The Day Promotion winners, with over $7,000 given away.
John Rambo
John Rambo is a lightly raced son of Cox Plate winning stallion, Adelaide. Trained at Eagle Farm by Queensland’s leading trainer in Tony Gollan, with a record of (10: 3-3-0) winning over $100,000 in prize money. His last two starts have been his best, where he has continued to improve with each preparation. He is known as the “One Bid Wonder” when Mr Racing was able to secure him at the Magic Millions March QTIS Sale for just $20,000 with only one bid placed. He certainly has his quirks and not an easy horse to ride, but gee does he have an engine when let go. His 5yr old campaign is when we believe we will see the best of him.
Kesalul
Purchased for only $20,000 at the Magic Millions March QTIS Sale this son of Supido has been a great buy. Trained by John Smerdon on the Gold Coast he has an outstanding race record (7-3-2-1) earning over $196,000 in prize money. Mr Racing bet right up on debut over 800m where he dead heated but then won when Toute Sweet failed the swab. Since then, he has improved with every start and gave our Owner Of The Day winners a huge thrill when only going down narrowly in the Mr Racing . au 3 yr old QTIS Jewel Race.
Fun Fact Kesalul is the Aborignal name for I Love You.
Slippin' Jimmy
Slippin’ Jimmy is a lightly raced (4:1-1-0) gelding by Pariah. Mr Racing bought Slippin’ Jimmy in partnership with one of Queensland’s best trainers, David Vandyke for $180,000. Arguably, should of won on debut, then second start competed in a $100,000 maiden race series and only beaten less than length. At his third start, he stepped up to 1200m at his home track at the Sunshine Coast and winning very impressively by 4.5 lengths showing an action that he could be a serious horse in the making. Mr Racing gave a 2.5% share away to one of our Silver Members Greg Doherty.
Daring Exploit
Daring Exploit is an unraced 2yo gelding with a bright future ahead. This young horse has caught the eye of many with his impressive appearance. Daring Exploit is a “super looker” with a strong conformation and athleticism that promises to make him a formidable competitor on the racetrack. As he is unraced, it’s hard to predict how he will perform, but with Vandyke’s expertise we are eagerly anticipating his race debut and believe he has the potential to make a big impact on the racing scene. Keep an eye out for Daring Exploit as he takes the track for the first time.
Anti Tank Missile
Anti Tank Missile is an unraced gelding sired by the multiple group winning stallion Smart Missile. Anti Tank Missile is in the capable hands of trainer David Vandyke, who has an impressive record of four Group One wins under his belt. Has been given plenty of time as his legs needed time to mature.
Oovii (007)
Oovii is a lightly raced gelding by The Mission. On debut at Mackay, Oovii proved to be a force to be reckoned with, taking home the win in impressive fashion. Oovii is trained by the talented Jared Whelow, who has a proven track record of success in North Queensland. With Oovii’s natural talent and the guidance of a skilled trainer, we are confident that this horse has a bright future ahead. Keep an eye out for Oovii as he continues to progress through his grades.
Instigate
Our 2yr old unraced filly by Brave Smash has shown ability in her first preparation with one of Queenslands best trainers, David Vandyke. Purchased for $24,000 in the Magic Millions March QTIS sale, we will be looking to tackle the 3yr old Jewel race next year.
Jimmyinthejungle
We absolutely loved his half brother, King Klaus who is a 14 time winner and amasing over $300,000 in prize money. Trained on the Gold Coast by the emerging young trainer, Adam Campton, this son of Jungle Cat is built for strength and speed. Adam has huge wraps on the attitude and action of him and we are looking to be tacking some of the great Magic Millions and QTIS eligible race series with him.
Whiskey Tower
We love the stallion in Satono Aladdin and excited that we have secured a share in this lovely filly from New Zealand with David Vandyke. She had an official trial in New Zealand, where she was slow away but made very good ground in the straight. Lovely action and will get over ground. Be our target to win a QLD Oaks with her.
Zousain x Top Of The Rock
Meet (Jimmy’s Brother) who is the half brother to Slippin’ Jimmy. Mr Racing purchased him alongside David Vandyke at the 2024 March Magic Millions QTIS Sale for $75,000
We love the sire Zousain, who has hit the ground running with his first crop of 2yr olds hitting the track this year. He has already had a Group 3 winner Drifting who took out the Magic Night Stakes and 6 individual metro winners. He is currently in his breaking in phase and we have had glowing reports coming back from Fenwick Farm.
Use Your Illusion
Mr Racing purchased a share in this Dubious gelding trained by Queenslands leading trainer in Tony Gollan. He was an absolute stand out on type for us at the Magic Millions sales. Mr Racing gave away a 2.5% share to one lucky member, Derek last year.
