The meetings around at the moment have been so thin and it feels like it has been forever since Mr Racing has been able to find any big value.
We were keen on Saturday that there were two hopes in Talk Time and Ocean Zar at Eagle Farm and unfortunately, Talk Time was slow away whereas Ocean Zar got the dream run throughout. Quinella lobbed but the big result for our Punter Of The Day, David Norvill couldn’t. We had $1,000 on Talk Time and $200 on the quinella, collecting $700 in cash. We live to fight another day.
This week we go through the upcoming promotions, our stable horses, and of course our race reviews.

We lost a true champion through the week who suddenly passed away in the Philippines after suffering a heart attack.
A great footballer, a larrikin, and an even better sledger.
He loved the dogs and this is an all-time moment when crossing live from Dapto Dogs back to Fatty in the studio.

Race Reviews
Talk Time & Ocean Zar
We were keen to betup in this race but we couldn't get the odds to back Talk Time and save on the main danger in Ocean Zar. Talk Time after being slow away and caught wide throughout, still chased well and ran through the line only being beaten 0.64 length by Ocean Zar who had the dream run throughout. Happy to follow Talk Time who can be winning soon if he finds the right race.
Press Link & Easy Dun
Press Link began ok and settled midfield, but was caught wide throughout with a trail. He couldn't pick up the leading pair in the straight where the sectionals suited them. Easy Dun was slow away and was given no chance with the way the raec was run. made good ground and is defiently better suited over further.

Slippin' Jimmy & King Yoshi
Both of these lightly raced geldings can go into the blackbook. Both had no luck last Friday night when contesting the TAB 100's and 1000's race at the Sunshine Coast and if placed right can go through their grades quickly.

The Gold Membership Recap
Not a lot of bets through the week where we only bet into 8 races. Very stiff on Thursday, where we backed three runners in one race, and the best way Rosso Levanto got beat on the line at 11.20 😭 😭
On Saturday, we wanted to back two runners at Eagle Farm in Talk Time and Ocean Zar but when the price went off we couldn’t save on the main danger.
Overall loss for the week but certainly did not deserve to walk away losing. This luck has to change!
PRO PUNTER OF THE WEEK, Peter McCormack was an overall loss of $1,200

Slippin’ Jimmy Report:
Nice and fit now and ready to do battle on Friday week at Kilcoy. He will accept and hope we can draw a barrier as it is a perfect race for him with the $10,500 QTIS bonus to the winner making the are worth $21,500 to the winner.
Whiskey Tower Report:
She has really tightened up and come on from that run at Sunshine Coast last start. We have accepted down at Grafton on Tuesday and it looks a perfect race for her to knock over her maiden.
Instigate Report:
She is looks really well. Heading to a trial on the 28th of next month and hopefully off to the races after that.
Anti Tank Missle Report:
Looking and feeling well, Dave is happy with how he is but just has a little bit of inflammation in those fetlocks but will have the vet over them and nothing to worry about.
John Rambo Report:
He certintly furnished this break and the extra two weeks has him in good nick. He will begin to increase his work out at Embrook prior to coming back into work at Eagle Farm. We can’t wait to see what he has in stall this preparation, he looks super!
Use Your Illusion Report:
| The jumpouts have been called off this week due to the wet weather. Tony put the blinkers on him and has sharpened him which was a positive sign and was very happy with how he worked with them on. He will be heading for a spell now for 4-6 weeks before coming back in. |
Smerdon Racing
Kesalul Report:
What a thrill there on Saturday he gave us all. Finishing 2nd in the race Mr Racing sponsored. He has pulled up well from the run and will be heading to the paddock now for a well deserved rest.
Jimmyinthejungle Report:
We have finally got his name back by Racing Australia: Jimmyinthejungle He now makes it the second Jimmy in the Mr Racing stable and Campo is very happy with how he is progressing. Only about 3 weeks away from his first jumpout or trial and we can not wait to see what is under the hood. | |

Jungle Cat x Khasahn
Mr Racing had this colt on our radar at the sales due to his half-brother (King Klaus) whom we tried to buy after his first race start. He is a fast, tough 1000m horse who has built a very handy record (29s :14 - 6 -1) and earned over $300,000 in prize money.
We loved his length, good muscle with clean knees and tracks well, he has a great head and a lovely mover.

Master Rich
Mr Racing along with trainer Jared Wehlow, purchased Master Rich at the recent Inglis Digital Online Sale for $8,000. He looks suited to North Queensland racing, especially the big Rockampton track and his run-on debut at Beaudesert was good when unsuited.
