Quiet Week
Very quiet easter week for members with the weather raining havoc here in the Sunshine State.

Great day out for Brave Mead down at Botany Beach.
Everything is on track heading towards the Group 2 Arrowfield Sprint on the 13th April. We excited to see which Silver Member will be drawn out for our Owner Of The Day Promotion and be flying the flag for Mr Racing. This lucky member will have the chance to be on course at Royal Randwick and collect the 2.5% share of the prize money Brave Mead earns on the day. If he can win the big race it will be over $11,000 in CASH for our OWNER OF THE DAY WINNER!

The Gilmore Club Ride Netted $475 In Cash
Baldo was out playing golf when he got the news that Mr Racing had drawn his member number out in the Punter Of The Day Promo and was having a $500 @ Top Fluc on Linebacker to win Race 3 at Rosehill on Saturday for him.
Fair to say the video he sent in had some Happy Gilmore in it.

High Dandy
Track played to the front there on Saturday and T. Schiller was very aggressive early to take up the lead and just set a decent tempo upfront, which in our opinion was a big reason as to why he dropped right out. He did come back and say the horse has not run out the trip but would want to see it again before putting him in that box.
Sweet Mercy
Thought she had her chance but wasn't at her best where she didn't finish off as well as she has prior. The winner was the one to follow out of the race after sitting wide throughout first up and winning well.
Linebacker
Nice horse this son of Super Seth who showed a gritty effort to fight back and win in a head bobber against a hard fit horse who was coming out of some good formlines. He was solid to the line and has good upside to come only being his second career start.

Very impressive win by the lightly raced son by Street Boss. He takes his record to (7: 5-1-1) and stamps himself as a real contender for the best mile race in Australia this weekend "The Doncaster" He looks to improve every run and quickened well to put a margin on them eased down. Very progressive horse.

Tough week to find any value where we had washed out meeting’s in QLD on both metro days, Wednesday and Saturday.
We started the week with a second and ended it the same way on Easter Sunday when Sturty couldn’t reel in the leader and eventual winner. Overall loss of 87 units for the week and we are looking to hit back the month of April after a luckless March where things just were not going our way.
PRO PUNTER OF THE WEEK, Mark Gilligan was an overall loss of $870

Slippin’ Jimmy Report:
Had a lovely trial this morning at the Sunshine Coast. He jumped in front and lead them by three, was switched off coming into the straight but love the way he fought back to the line when they got up alongside him. Off to the races now where we will look to take him through his grades.
Whiskey Tower Report:
Made her debut there on Monday at Ipswich and was always going to be too short for her as she was purchased to be a stayer. M.Rod said she wasn’t comfortable being inside horses and we will get a lot better guide once she is out over further and a bigger track.
Anti Tank Missile Report:
He looks well considering the length of time he has had off. Just feeling his feet a little but Dave is happy with his fetlocks which is a positive.
Instigate Report:
She is back at the stables which is exciting. Still has some growing to do yet.
John Rambo Report:
An incredible run there on Saturday and should of won if he faced a fair track. His closing splits were phenomenal and we loved his action when wanting to really charge to the line. His last two starts have been some of his best and will now be heading for a spell and bring him back at the end of the Winter Carnival.
Use Your Illusion Report:
| The jumpouts have been called off this week due to the wet weather. Tony put the blinkers on him and has sharpened him which was a positive sign and was very happy with how he worked with them on. He will be heading for a spell now for 4-6 weeks before coming back in. |

What a thrill there on Saturday he gave us all. Finishing 2nd in the race Mr Racing sponsored. He has pulled up well from the run and will be heading to the paddock now for a well deserved rest.

Jungle Cat x Khasahn
Mr Racing had this colt on our radar at the sales due to his half-brother (King Klaus) whom we tried to buy after his first race start. He is a fast, tough 1000m horse who has built a very handy record (29s :14 - 6 -1) and earned over $300,000 in prize money.
We loved his length, good muscle with clean knees and tracks well, he has a great head and a lovely mover.

Master Rich
Mr Racing along with trainer Jared Wehlow, purchased Master Rich at the recent Inglis Digital Online Sale for $8,000. He looks suited to North Queensland racing, especially the big Rockampton track and his run-on debut at Beaudesert was good when unsuited.
