No Luck
What a thrill it was to have our small share in Brave Mead make a big impact on Golden Slipper Day!
Congratulations to Silver Member Suzanne Fagan who took home $3,130 in CASH from the Brave Mead OWNER OF THE DAY Promotion.
Our luck ending there though with not only Gold members but Silver members too not able to land a blow. Robrick, Bella Nipotina and Sunshine In Paris all very well supported but we simply just couldn’t land the money.
Looking ahead, The King Of The Promos will be giving away a $200 free play on a runner in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes that one of our Mr Racing spys had found….Check out who that is below.

What a day it was for the Mr Racing team, Ciaron Maher Racing, Australian Bloodstock and of course our OWNER OF THE DAY WINNER, Suzanne Fagan with our son of Brave Smash, Brave Mead who took out the Listed Darby Munro Stakes.
The plan now is to head to the Group 2 Arrowfield 3yr old Sprint at Randwick on the 13th April over 1200m.

The King Of The Promos have our recent purchase from the Gold Coast March Magic Millions Sales head out to our good friends at Fenwick Farm to begin his breaking in. Scott has been delighted with how forward and smart this colt has been and showing great signs early. His having his first ride today and will be having a gallop on the track next Tuesday.

Prior to her impressive last start Mr Racing took the 11.0 on offer in the all in markets, she had been identified by one of our spys Andrew Read as a top class mare who had some top European form on the board including finishing 2nd in her last two starts at Group 1 level. with a record of (13: 5-3-2)

Race Reviews
Robrick
Very heavily backed throughout the betting, starting at 3.1 on the totes. He began only fairly and couldn't hold a spot one pair further forward, like we had hoped. He was plain in the end and our query was that he may be looking for 1400m and it played out that way.
Bella Nipotina
She was well supported late in betting and after beginning well, she looked like she was going to end up in the one one but was shuffled back to midfield. Disappointing result after being on each way, heads up and heads down and the bob going the other way.
Prost
What a top class Golden Slipper field this was. We thought there was good value to bet around the favourite in Storm Boy who was clearly the one to beat but at the price wasn't any value at all. Prost began fair and settled midfield and worked into the race but was tightened for room over the conculding stages and might be better suited over 1400m.
Sunshine In Paris
Gee, we have to say that J. Collett has made a poor split section decision here not come to the outside of Uncommon James in the straight, instead going back to the inside, which was absolute quicksand there on Saturday. She has charged to the line and only got beaten by 0.14 lengths. Should have won.

Very impressive win by the lightly raced son of Press Statement. He was only having his third race start here and after begining fairly, was dragged back to sit 3 wide throughout. Really loved the way he pinned his ears back and extended through his gears at the 100m mark running right through the line. Looks suited stepping out to 1400m

The Gold Membership Recap
It was a disappointing week for our Gold Membership with no luck. We took some great early positions in the early markets with majority of them very well backed. Saturday was a clear example of this with Fumiko 9.0 into 5.0, Quothquan 8.5 into 5.0 and Sunshine In Paris 8.0 into 5.0
We gave back what we had won the week prior but we certainly gave ourselves a chance for a very different result.
PRO PUNTER OF THE WEEK, Scott Travers was an overall loss of $1,227

Slippin’ Jimmy Report:
The track was too wet for Jimmy to jumpout this week so we will be going around on the 2nd April in an official trial.
Whiskey Tower Report:
She will be making her debut at this stage on Monday at Ipswich in Race 4 over 1350m. We won’t be expecting a whole lot from her as she will be better suited over more ground and on a bigger track.
John Rambo Report:
An incredible run there on Saturday and should of won if he faced a fair track. His closing splits were phenomenal and we loved his action when wanting to really charge to the line. His last two starts have been some of his best and will now be heading for a spell and bring him back at the end of the Winter Carnival.
Use Your Illusion Report:
| The jumpouts have been called off this week due to the wet weather. Tony put the blinkers on him and has sharpened him which was a positive sign and was very happy with how he worked with them on. He will be heading for a spell now for 4-6 weeks before coming back in. |
Smerdon Racing
Kesalul Report:
What a thrill there on Saturday he gave us all. Finishing 2nd in the race Mr Racing sponsored. He has pulled up well from the run and will be heading to the paddock now for a well deserved rest.

Jungle Cat x Khasahn
Mr Racing had this colt on our radar at the sales due to his half-brother (King Klaus) whom we tried to buy after his first race start. He is a fast, tough 1000m horse who has built a very handy record (29s :14 - 6 -1) and earned over $300,000 in prize money.
We loved his length, good muscle with clean knees and tracks well, he has a great head and a lovely mover.

Master Rich
Mr Racing along with trainer Jared Wehlow, purchased Master Rich at the recent Inglis Digital Online Sale for $8,000. He looks suited to North Queensland racing, especially the big Rockampton track and his run-on debut at Beaudesert was good when unsuited.
