Use Your Illusion Winner
Well, we did it again!
Mr Racing gave away a 2.5% share in one of our racehorses last week in Use Your Illusion to one lucky Gold Member.
A massive congratulations to Derek James, who was our winning member. Derek was absolutely gobsmacked when he watched the draw and couldn’t believe he had won.
He is now the owner of a 2 yr old by Dubious trained by Queensland’s leading trainer, Tony Gollan.

Brave Mead Promotion
It’s that time again, when Mr Racing ‘The King Of The Promos’ gives away our 2.5% share in the prize money earned by Brave Mead in our ‘Owner Of The Day’ promo.

Our Tips
Midweek Multi
Jonny Da Wolf: He was sensationally backed late and after beginning ok, jockey M. Murphy drove him to hold the lead. They have gone out quick and set the race up for the eventual winner, who had the perfect run trailing the hot tempo.
John Rambo: We didn't anticipate him getting the run he had but after stepping slowly, he was caught back on the fence in a very slowly run race. He really wanted to get the gap in the straight when he had A Lot Of Booty rolling in and once he got through, he quickened super and put the race away, winning by 1.53 lengths and running a very slick last 600m sectional. He looks to have taken another step forward this preparation.
Pending
A very disappointing performance from Pending, who simply did not run up to his last start. Jockey J. Orman reported that his mount did not travel comfortably throughout but the stewards failed to find anything in a post-race vet examination.
Imatruestar
Not sure what jockey A. Hyeronimus was thinking here in the early stages of the race, as he could of slid forward and tucked in behind Echoes Of My Mind. Instead, getting caught 3 wide throughout. Never had full momentum up in the straight and can forgive the run.
Skybird / Coeur Volante
Mr Racing was hoping Skybird could use the inside gate more but she didn't begin well and settled back worse than midfield. She has run very well considering she has had to overcome the bias which was playing up and in there on Saturday. Coeur Volante got the lovely run throughout, one out and one back. She looked to peak on her run and finished 4th beaten 2.6 lengths. She is heading for a spell now.
Kind Words
Absolute tradegy. Mr Racing was keen that Kind Words would run a big race at the each-way quote and we feel it should have won. She had absolutely no momentum in the straight when bolting for a run with nothing but backsides in front of her. Had to ease across heels and by this stage, the winner had put 2-3 lengths on her. Kept coming to only be beaten 1.31 lengths and was in front shortly after the post. Stiff result for our Punter Of The Week Carl who had $50 each way at 15.0 and 3.9 place.
One To Follow
John Rambo
It was an impressive return to the track for our very own John Rambo, kicking off his preparation in good style. He was a lot more settled and relaxed in the parade yard this time in and he showed that he is in for a good preparation ahead by running some very slick last 600m sectionals. Fingers crossed, he can get into the Gateway on the 9th December and keep the Stradbroke dream alive.

Dave is very happy with how he has come through that run and will be having a jumpout next week on the 28th at home.
Brave Mead Preview:
Brave Mead is backing up from last week after running second for us. It’s a funny preparation after racing two starts back over 1600m and then 1400m. Saturday he races over 1200m with 60kg and with the tricky draw of 9 of 9.
Mr Racing doesn’t have a good feel for the race and we will be just cheering it for our ‘Owner Of The Day’ where one lucky member will win 2.5% of the prize money he earns.

Jungle Cat x Khasahn
Mr Racing had this colt on our radar at the sales due to his half-brother (King Klaus) whom we tried to buy after his first race start. He is a fast, tough 1000m horse who has built a very handy record (29s :14 - 6 -1) and earned over $300,000 in prize money.
We loved his length, good muscle with clean knees and tracks well, he has a great head and a lovely mover.

Master Rich
Mr Racing along with trainer Jared Wehlow, purchased Master Rich at the recent Inglis Digital Online Sale for $8,000. He looks suited to North Queensland racing, especially the big Rockampton track and his run-on debut at Beaudesert was good when unsuited.
